A few things to bear in mind
A few things to bear in mind if posting here:
Or in short, don't reuse your SystmOne passwords here, keep your Information Governance training in mind, and generally try to be sensible.
- This is a publically accessible forum. It's possible for members of the public to view posts made, or sign up and create posts.
- It's not implausible that someone could imitate another SystmOne user, or a member of TPP staff.
- This appears to be part of the Forumotion forum network. It is possible that "hidden" information, such as contents of private messages, passwords (depending on whether they're stored in plain text or not), and so on, could be viewed by Forumotion staff.
- Generally, forums are relatively easy to hack, particularly "out of the box" forum software lacking any security measures beyond those included inby default.
- The adage "Once it's on the internet, it's there forever" applies here. Search engine bots, web archives, and lay users may create copies of anything posted, that will be impossible to edit or delete.
- Some workplaces have internet usage policies that may not actually allow you to access this forum.
Or in short, don't reuse your SystmOne passwords here, keep your Information Governance training in mind, and generally try to be sensible.

Re: A few things to bear in mind
Thanks for your comments. Just to clarify, one of the main reasons for launching this forum was to allow the views and discussion between SystmOne users to be 'Public' rather than restricted to the TPP forum where only TPP customers can see them and TPP end up archiving posts so they disappear and aren't readily available for reference, etc.
The board is indeed open to security issues, to the level of any other public forum, but it is moderated and closely monitored by the admin team to try and prevent spamming and fake users. Should any issues arise in the future, we shall deal with them is a suitable manor. It may be that we ask for organisation details that can be cross-referenced before a member is activated and then offer a tier system to allow certain types of members to access certain areas of the forum.
It's all new and still a 'work in progress' so all comments and criticisms are welcome!
Oh, and this thread was moved as it had been posted in a SystmOne discussion area... Just in case you couldn't find it where you expected it to be...

Re: A few things to bear in mind
I was just thinking, it might be better if the 'admin team' created individual accounts with Admin privileges, so that people actually know who they're talking to.
Also re archiving: if you access the Search node from the tree on the left of the Forums screen, there is an 'Include archived topics' tickbox. If you're not sure on what words might've been included in a particular post (or in case of typos etc), you can also search on a user alone, which will return all threads that the user has posted in. A little clunky, but it gets the job done.
