Large patient record crashing SystmOne
We have several rather large patient records that we're having problems with when trying to open them. Basically, when using the usual search box, SystmOne is freezing and not even Task Manager will completely free up the issue as once it's closed this way, SystmOne won't reboot. It's needing a complete logout from the PCs in question. Sometimes, the record will open if using 'Patient locator' instead, but most of the time this is having the same effect. It's worth noting that some PCs at our practice don't crash, although the record still takes in excess of 30 seconds to open. The PCs in question have had all the usual things done, including a SystmOne re-install.
Any ideas?

We face same issue, using S1 Live over SSL VPN 3G and wifi. About 1000users.
Already tested on reliable wifi, reinstalled S1, updated all drivers, new laptops. No congestion on network.

We're running ours through our cabled network that sits on a fibre-optic N3 connection, so it's doubtful it's a connection issue. I'm pretty certain it's a software issue.

Re: Large patient record crashing SystmOne
It's only happening with 2 or 3 large patient records and it happens every time on certain PCs in the practice. On those that don't freeze, it can take up to 20 minutes to retrieve. Once retrieved, the records aren't so large that they should create such a delay or any other problems so it's a complete mystery why this is happening.
Our local CCG clinical team have looked into it and now managed to raise it to a higher level. Hopefully, an answer will be forthcoming in the near future...
